Senior Bookkeeping Specialist • Co-Founder
LuAnn brings over 40 years of experience in public accounting and bookkeeping services. Like Steven, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and a Master’s of Accounting with a specialization in Tax from Florida Atlantic University. Her background includes decades of client-focused service across a wide range of industries, from small business bookkeeping to corporate financial reporting.
Throughout her career, she has prepared to be the core of JMW Financial’s bookkeeping operations — overseeing everything from monthly reconciliation and general ledger accuracy to payroll tax support and client financial prep for CPA review.
Her attention to detail, dedication to long-term client relationships, and deep knowledge of accounting systems make her a trusted resource for her clients year after year. She is the reason so many clients say they “don’t worry about the books anymore.”

Steven F. Jacob
Certified Public Accountant
Stevens career includes over 40 years in public accounting, six years with international accounting and consulting firm, KPMG Peat Marwick.
While at KPMG he was a senior manager in the SALT, (State and Local Taxation Group), where he handled various state tax issues including multi-state sales tax and unemployment tax issues. Since 1998, Steve maintained a private practice which handled tax issues for firm clientele, including assisting clients receive tax refunds on monies lost in Ponzi schemes. With his knowledge and experience, he has saved clients millions of dollars from tax audits, OIC’s, and negotiations with the IRS and various States. Mr. Jacob currently focuses his efforts in the area of tax consulting, specializing in IRS and state tax resolution.
Steve received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and a Masters of Accounting with a specialization in Tax from Florida Atlantic University. He is a licensed CPA in the State of Florida, a current member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and also a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA). Steve has presented many tax seminars throughout South Florida.

Diane has spent over a decade working with Fresh Start Tax, and now continues her service with JMW Financial — helping carry forward the same high standard of detail and client care. Her expertise includes full-cycle bookkeeping, general ledger cleanup, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.

Jenina Jacob
Certified Bookkeeper • Co-Founder
Jenina graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a specialization in Artificial Intelligence. She also played collegiate softball, balancing academics and athletics with a strong drive for performance and leadership.
Jenina holds a Bookkeeping Certificate with QuickBooks and is responsible for developing the firm’s digital infrastructure — including building the JMW Financial client portal and web platform. She also supports client onboarding, business operations, and maintains a hands-on role in day-to-day bookkeeping when needed.
With a deep respect for legacy and tradition, Jenina’s focus is on blending modern technology with the proven expertise of seasoned professionals like her father, CPA Steven Jacob.
